Ayumi Hamasaki
She is a 23 year-old superstar! And one of the most powerful
figures in Japan's music culture today. If I had to compare her to a current Western artist I'd have to go with Madonna; mostly,
because she's always changing her style and re-inventing herself! She writes her own lyrics, sings like an angel, and is so
beautiful! She's the GREATEST!! Okay, my bias is coming out here; she is, after all, my ALL time favorite J-pop singer! With
songs like, Fly high (LOVEeppers) and Daybreak (I am) she's the goddess of J-pop! You've more in likely heard her music but
didn't know it. For instance, she sings Dearest and No More Words from Inu Yasha.
